Вверх Description

Program "Colors Builder" v1.0 is intended for creation of harmonious color circuits for web-site and formation of sets of palettes for web-design. Opportunities of a choice of primary colour from a palette of colors are included in the program: using Windows dialogue, from scale of the colors generated by the program and "manual" input hexadecimal HTML codes of color.

The program visually allows to select color scales from primary colour with smooth transition from one color to another and to determine their six-digit hexadecimal codes.

In the program the opportunity of preservation of the received color circuits is stipulated as: TXT a file and its viewing in the text editor; HTML a file and its viewing in a browser; copying of codes of colors to the clipboard.

The program will be useful to web-designers and to programmers. It has intuitive - understandable Russian and the English interface, without installation.

It is not required to installation, it is necessary one file of the program "colorsbuilder.exe" extract from archive and to place in a separate folder, further to cause a file colorbuilder.exe on performance.

The code of color can be specified as six-digit hexadecimal number with which help the ratio of red, green and blue is set (RGB) and intensity of each of them. First two figures correspond to a red component, the following two - green, last two - blue.

Value 00 means, that the component completely is excluded, and value FF (255) - that completely is present. Thus, a code of bright red color - FF0000, bright - green - 00FF00, bright - blue - 0000FF. Other primary colours are formed by mixture of two components, for example FFFF00 - yellow, FF00FF - crimson, 00FFF - turquoise. Codes white FFFFFF and black 000000 colors are easy for calculating.

Вверх Choice of primary colour

Opportunities of a choice of base (primary) color are included in the program:
1) From a palette of colors, using standard dialogue Windows, pressing the button " the Choice of color ". Color will be shown in window: "The chosen color" and its hexadecimal code will be shown in the field located below.


2) From scale of the generated colors in the program, pressing the button of "vertical" group.

In this case as base color one of 20 colors is accepted, and it is shown in the window of the chosen color:

Its hexadecimal code is shown in the field located below, and already from its value of 20 following colors are recalculated.

And also it is shown in the window, located at the centre of the color circuit:



3) "Manual" input of hexadecimal values of codes (HTML) of color as, for example: FFAA24 or 568349.

The code of the chosen color can be copied in a clipboard, pressing the button "Copy to clipboard" or to begin a mousy on a field with a code and to press the right button of a mousy - the menu (to cut out, insert, copy etc.) with which help it is possible to execute operation of copying opens.

Generation of color circuits (sets of colors) from the chosen primary color is made by change of position of the pointer of Track - Bar, a choice of position of the switch "Choice of algorithm of change of color ", pressing buttons of "vertical" group. We shall consider their action more in detail:

1) Track - Bar: changing position of the pointer to the left or to the right, we control generation of shades.

Extreme left position corresponds to value 0, extreme right position - 50.

2) A choice of position of the Switch: "Choice of algorithm of change of color " we change a way (algorithm) of formation of shades

"Red" - in this case we establish change only red component of color (R from RGB), blue and green remain constant. Red component of color it is calculated under the formula for twenty shades from base (primary) color (it is in the middle):

red5 = z + d*6
red6 = z + d*5
red7 = z + d*4

- z; - Primary color (R from RGB)
- red1. red21 (except Red11) - derivative from primary colour
- d - the size received by value of position of pointer of Track-Bar (from 0 up to 50). Thus we receive 20 shades from base color:

"blue" - - in this case we establish a mode of change of blue component of color, red and green remain constant. The blue component also varies under the above described formula.

"green" - - in this case we establish a mode of change of green component of color, red and blue remain constant. The green component also varies under the above described formula.

"red + green" - in this case we establish a mode of change of red and green components of color, blue remain constant. The red and green component also varies under the above described formula.

Similar functions of others switches are realized in:
"green + blue"
"red + blue "
"red + green + blue"


Вверх Preservation of color circuits

In the program the opportunity of preservation of ready color circuits is stipulated as:
1) TXT file with its viewing in the text editor.
2) HTML file with its viewing in a browser used by default.

Function copying of single codes of colors to the clipboard (is realized as: "*FF00AA")

To open files of color circuits, it is necessary to take advantage of items of the menu: "File"---" Open TXT " or---"Open HTML "

To choose language of interface of the program, it is necessary to take advantage of item of the menu: "File"---"Interface"---"English" or "Russian" or to press buttons "English" or "Russian".
